Laura Schlappa is an aspiring young organist. She won several awards at various organ competitions, such as the 1st prize in: the XXI International Petr Eben Competition (Czech Republic, 2022), the VIII International Dudelange Organ Competition (Luxembourg, 2021), the Northern Ireland International Organ Competition (2020, 2018), and the London Organ Competition (2019), among others. Across Germany, Poland, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Luxembourg and Austria, she has given concerts playing many organs in various venues such as Westminster Abbey, St. Paul's Cathedral, St. Martin’s Church in Dudelange, Paderborn Cathedral, Collegiate Church in Stuttgart, Essen Philharmonic, Concert Hall of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, ORF (Austrian Broadcasting Corporation) Radiokulturhaus in Vienna. Laura Schlappa is currently studying in the class of prof. Martin Sander at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich. She received additional musical impulses and improved her skills in masterclasses with Christophe Mantoux, Olivier Latry, Thierry Escaich, Ben van Oosten, Hans-Ola Ericsson, among the others.
