Prize fund of the competition

Laureate' prizes:

In age group A - 500 Eur
In age group B - 1000 Eur
In age group C - 1500 Eur

The jury reserves the right to award a Grand Prix to the best entrants in each age group and instrument category, amounting to:

In age group A - 1000 Eur
In age group B - 2000 Eur
In age group C - 3000 Eur

For all laureates and the GranPrix winners cash prize fund may not exceed EUR 24.000.

The fund of special and incentive prizes is EUR 1.000 for all participants of the competition, including EUR 500 for the best performance of B. Dvarionas' Concerto

The total amount of cash prizes awarded by the Jury decizion  is EUR 25.000.

 

The competitors can be awarded by the special and incentive prizes or diplomas:

  • Special Prize from Saulius Karosas Charity Foundation - 500 Eur (for violinist or pianist);
  • for the best performance of a concerto with orchestra by B. Dvarionas (for violinist or pianist, 500 Eur);
  • for the best performance of a piece by B. Dvarionas (for violinist and pianist);
  • for the best performance of a piece by Lithuanian contemporary composer (for violinist and pianist);
  • the youngest participants will be awarded with a tangible prize (participants in the II Round, pianist and violinist);
  • for the best performance of a piece by baroque composer (for pianist and violinist);
  • for the best performance of a piece by classical composer (for pianist and violinist);
  • for the best performance of a piece by a contemporary composer (for pianist and violinist);
