COMPETITION PROGRAM
All works must be performed from MEMORY.
Performance video for a qualifying round can be submitted, changed or modified in the system until the end of registration.
PRE-SELECTION ROUND VIDEO:
The live competition for “A” and “B” groups will consist of two rounds, while the competition for “C” group will encompass three rounds, with the final round featuring orchestral accompaniment.
In Round 1, competitors must include at least one work from the Baroque or Classical era in their performance.
In Round 2, competitors are required to perform at least one composition by Balys Dvarionas.
Competitors have full discretion to select the remaining pieces for their program within the time limits specified for each age group.
The performances for both Round 1 and Round 2 must have the following duration:
Group “A” – from 10 to 20 minutes;
Group “B” – from 15 to 25 minutes;
Group “C” – from 20 to 30 minutes.
Time limits must be strictly adhered to, and no piece may be performed more than once.
In Round 1 and Round 2 pianists must perform solo piano works only, violinists solo or with piano accompaniment.
Round 3 for Age Group “C” – performance with the The Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra at the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Grand Hall.
