Vincent Tang was born in Duisburg, Germany, and began playing violin at the age of 5. Since 2021, he has become junior student at the Robert Schumann University, under the tutelage of prof. Yamei Yu. He has won 1st prizes at the "Jugend Musiziert" National Competition, in solo violin category (2022), and in string ensemble category (2023), where he has also received a special prize. Vincent has also taken part in masterclasses, conducted by prof. Pavel Vernikov, prof. Grigory Kalinowsky, prof. Robin Wilson, prof. Krzysztof Wegrzyn, among the others. He is also a member of the Chamber Music Center NRW Förderensemble. In 2023, he gave his debut with the Aachen Symphony Orchestra conducted by Chanmin Chung. Vincent is a scholarship holder of the German Foundation for Music Life (Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben) and plays a violin with a "Giovanni Grancino anno 1731" label from the German Musical Instrument Fund (Deutsche Instrumentenfonds).
