Sofija was born in Riga, in 2014. Since has been playing violin since she was four. Sofija is a 3nd grade student at the Emīls Dārziņš Music School in Riga, Latvia, working under the guidance of teacher Ludmila Girska. She is a laureate of several international and national competitions: Mimas Music Festival in Procida, Italy (2022); Latvian State Competition for Strings (2022-2023); International Competition for Instrumentalists and Vocalists "RISING STARS" in Riga, Latvia, (2022, 2023); XXVI International Competition of Bohdan Warchal in Slovakia (2023); Latvian Talent Contest "InesesGalantesTalanti" (2023). Sofija loves classical ballet and takes the class, she also loves Shen Yun Performing Arts – classical Chinese dance and music, and is into painting, playing piano.
