Professor | Wei-neng Yang

Accompanist | Kotryna Kaklauskaitė

I was born in Kaohsiung, in 2006. I am a student in the 3rd grade at the Tainan Girls' Senior High School, where violin is my major. My parents encouraged me to start learning music since I entered kindergarten. They believe that musical enlightenment must start at an early age. In 3rd grade of the elementary school, I passed the exam and entered music class at the Renai Elementary School in Pingtung. In my senior year, I served as the concertmaster of the school orchestra, and led the string orchestra to win at the final of the 106th National Student Music Competition, which was held in Pingtung for the first time. I attended the music class at the Zhongzheng Junior High School in Pingtung which I finished with the top score. When I was in the 9th grade, I formed a piano trio together with my classmates. I have won the National Student Music Competition and was selected as the Pingtung District representative to participate in the national finals. I passionately love the violin and aspire to become a professional violinist.
